Living Dead Dolls Game

Do you remember those goth dolls at Spencer's and occasionally Hot Topic? Living Dead Dolls were only one series of several, which included Bleeding Edge Goths. My review is not about the dolls themselves, but rather a board game that was released at the height of their popularity.
Picture, if you will, a combination of Monopoly, Sorry!, and Candyland; then add in magic spells. The core of the gameplay consists of drawing cards to determine your movement, each of which has an amusing picture and text. Well, amusing if you are a spooky or morbid person. The object of the game is to shuffle off the mortal coil. Each movement card is a means of death, except "Stop to smell the black roses". There are also properties. When you own a property, you collect rent from people who land on it and if it has a special feature, such as trapping a player, you are immune to it. You draw special cards when prompted to by the game and you also start off with a hand. The special cards will be properties and spells. You can also spend money, in the form of "soul deeds" to "buy" cards. If you land on a space already occupied by a player or their evil twin-yes, evil twins- you can engage in battle for some of their money. Battle is decided by a roll of the die, with the defender winning a tie. The evil twin is always considered as defending.
This game takes a long time to play. This game doesn't take a lot for setup or anything like that, but the board is large and you take a twisting path to the end. As always more players are better and add to the fun. The presentation gets full marks. The artwork and designs are just great. The gameplay gets a minor hit for the length, but that may not be a problem for you. The manual is worded clearly and the rules are easy to understand. Overall, I recommend the Living Dead Dolls Game. It is fun and I like the atmosphere. Kind of brings board games like Nightmare (Atmosfear) to mind, with that mix of spooky, goofy fun.
7/10
I also recommend you have some fun spooky music playing in the background.
